CMA Extends Review Deadline As It Mulls Amex GBT-CWT Study

The U.K. Competition and Markets Authority on Thursday extended by six weeks to March 9 its deadline to make a final decision on American Express Global Business Travel's proposed acquisition of CWT. The CMA stated that "completion of its investigation and the publication of its final report will not be possible within the original reference period," previously set to conclude by Jan. 26.
